As a mystery reader going back to my earliest visits to the library, I finally wrote a mystery novel of my own. Averted Vision takes place in a small town in Minnesota. I had a lot of fun sprinkling murders with Minnesota culture, humor, and quirky characters. There’s a lake, of course, and a tornado that draws artist Cassie Windom into the puzzle by dredging up a body from its depths.
