I had a great time in Peru and Ecuador. The Galapagos Islands were fantastic. I hope to post pics and stuff from the trip soon. Right now I’m getting ready for Convergence, an SF and F con in Minneapolis. I’ll be on a bunch of panels, doing a reading and signing my books. I’m especially looking forward to How to Wear a Kilt.

I had a great conversation in a group gathered around the DreamHaven Bookstore booth at Minicon. In case you aren’t familiar with it, it is one of two fantastic SFF bookstores in Minneapolis. Everyone had terrific recommendations. My stack of To Read books got bigger and my list of books to check out later got very much longer. Lots of writers I haven’t tried before! I can’t wait to dive into Pride and Prometheus by John Kessel and European Travel for the Monstrous Gentlewoman by Theodora Goss.
